There are many ways to inform people regarding any issue. In
my opinion, creating an infographic is one of the most practical ways to inform
the audience in an easy and clear way. Rather than being provided with a full long
text about an issue, most of the people prefer a visual representation of
information or data which makes it easier for the audience to grasp the
critical points without getting lost in the abundance of details.
In the present project, I tried to introduce 4 of my
favorite WEB 2.0 tools: STORYBIRD, KAHOOT, POPPLET, and POWTOON.
After giving general brief information regarding each tool, I wrote about the affordances and constraints of the tools, and created a why to use part for each of them. The biggest problem that I had
was to find proper images to use in the infographic. Although it was my first
time that I worked on an infographic I enjoyed it very much. It was an
interesting and exciting process for me.
There are numerous tools for creating an infographic. I
preferred to use a template on the website called PIKTOCHART. This tools is very convenient and practical. The only difficulty
that I faced with on this website was to choose a proper template. Before
creating my infographic, I made some practice with various templates, and
decided on one of them.
