THE PADLET PROJECT: Global Warming

Making it possible for students to be able to participate in lesson anytime and anywhere in the world, padlet is one of the most fruitful platforms for those who wish to enjoy the opportunity of studying their own pace.  Needless to say, it is a great tool for collaboration and it is not very complicated. Learners can use it very easily and practically. One of the most attractive features and a major bonus of this tool is that it is free.

As a group, we decided to focus on the issue of Global Warming which is a very significant contemporary problem of the world. We tried to share our opinions in a well-designed, organized, and informative way so that the learners or visitors obtain the information without getting confused. Self-produced videos, various web videos, images, poems, and so on helped us to enrich the content. It was a collaborative work which made it easier to organize our thoughts, compose and share them in a systematic way. We sometimes offered each other some resources to use or techniques to convey personal messages. It was an enjoyable brainstorming process in which all group members contributed to critical thinking in a communicative and creative atmosphere.

It would not be wrong to say that this project made it possible for me to see how 21^st century learning skills come together in harmony and reinforce each other. Padlet is a proper tool to experience the strength and effect of 4 Cs.
